Summer Stroll 2025

Join us and help us celebrate the first week of school! All classes will walk around the block with their grade and have the chance to visit with our very own San Francisco Fire Department. 

When: Friday, August 22, 2025
Where: Argonne – our neighborhood block!

A few details:

• Remember to sign your student's permission slip and have them turn it in to their teacher!
• Ask your student to wear their Argonne shirt/sweater or something red.
• Strolling will start at the 18th Ave school entrance.
• Each grade will have 20 minutes for strolling and 10 minutes with the fire truck, which will be parked on the schoolyard.
• Ice cream will be served on the yard!

Parents/Caregivers – Volunteer!

Parents and caregivers, families and friends, we need you! Come for the whole thing or align with your child's walking slot.

1) We need you to fill out a permission slip for your student.
2) Please line the walking route between the four corners of our block, pass out water and MAKE SOME NOISE! Beyond your presence and supportive cheers, we encourage: speakers playing tunes, kazoos, tambourines, bells, whistles, instruments of any kind, chalk, pompoms! Bubbles, bubbles and MORE bubbles!
