Room Parents

Room parents are crucial classroom volunteers and are the central liaison between classroom parents, teachers, and the PTO.

• Support the teacher/classroom
  • Ongoing support: Art in Action, classroom readers, supplies, materials prep. etc.
  • Events / One-time support: field trips, in class celebrations, etc.
• PTO Liaison
  • Distribute information to parents/families    
  • Find volunteers for school-wide activities/events: eg. Field Day, Spring Fair
• Support classroom families
  • Connect folks to resources
