2025-2026 Argonne for All Giving Campaign is open through June 3, 2026. This is where YOU make a big difference; your donation supports all the incredible activities, programs, and teachers that help our students and Argonne Elementary thrive.

What is the Giving Campaign?

While other fundraising is tied to events or seasonal sales, the Giving Campaign is the one time all year we ask for a donation. The Giving Campaign covers over 80% of the Parent Teacher Organization's (PTO) expenses for the year.

What is the Giving Campaign fundraising goal?

We aim to raise at least $225,000 this year, $10,000 more than what we raised last year.

We are deeply thankful for every gift and volunteer hour contributed. With your strong support, we hope to reduce the amount needed to dip into our reserve funds, which we are currently planning on using about $28,000.

Why so much?

The majority of money raised will pay for additional teachers and staff to support our students: a full-time para educator to support the classrooms, additional hours for teachers, as well as a garden teacher to bring an outdoor curriculum rich in science and ecology to all students.

Additionally, our goal is to secure enough funding to help employ both a class size reduction teacher and a reading specialist for the 2026-2027 school year—and to keep these essential roles in place for years to come.

Where else does the money go?

Much of the rest pays for field trips and overnights, ensuring all students can participate in school-wide events like Pawpalooza and Field Day that enhance our children’s sense of community and fun. It also provides training, supplies, and technology for teachers. Most importantly, the PTO strives to meet funding needs when SFUSD-provided funding changes or falls short.

What is the suggested amount?

We're asking for a donation of $1,600 per family. You can pay a lump sum, or split it across the year. If you have more than one child at Argonne, we ask that you consider contributing an additional $600 for each additional student.

Argonne Council of Empowerment (dba as Argonne PTO) is a 501(c)(3) and a receipt will be provided.

What if I can't afford a $1,600 donation?

We understand not every family can afford a donation this size, and we ask that each family give as much as they are able. Any amount helps and we want to encourage everyone to participate!

Is it helpful to give more if I can?

Yes, PLEASE! If your circumstances allow, please consider contributing more than $1,600 to ensure that all students, regardless of financial situation, can benefit from what makes Argonne so great.

Also, many employers will match what you give, so be sure to request a match from programs such as Benevity!

Why is my student begging me for an ice cream party?

Our goal is 100% participation, no matter how much you contribute. Whether it's $50 or $5,000, your contribution counts! All classrooms with 100% participation (forms signed and submitted) will get an ice cream party! Don't keep your student -- and their classmates -- from an ice cream party!

Can grandparents, other family members and family friends contribute on my student's behalf?

Most certainly! Please direct them to argonnesf.org/annualgiving. From there, they can select their preferred payment type. Please ask them to mention your student’s name and teacher’s name or room number, so we can properly attribute the donation to your family.

How do I make my donation?

Donating is super easy!
Donate online, or return the form to the front office or a classroom teacher. We accept the following forms of payment:
DONATE BY CREDIT OR DEBIT CARD
The button above will take you to a payment portal on Konstella. There you can split your donation into several monthly payments if needed. And don’t forget to take advantage of any matching gifts your company may offer! Print your donation receipt through Konstella to use for matching gift requests.
DONATE BY VENMO
For Venmo payments, click the button above and please include in the notes: "Argonne Giving Campaign, Student Name(s), Teacher Name(s) and/or Classroom Number(s)"
DONATE BY CHECK OR CASH
For check or cash, download the Remit Form by clicking the button above, fill it out and return it along with payment to the front office or a classroom teacher.

Why should I donate as soon as I read this?

Every week we’ll have a raffle for fun prizes -- like gift cards to Joe’s Ice Cream or a pizza party for your child & a friend. Your child will only be eligible once you return your form or donate online, so donate early!

Our highly sought after grand prize is for 2 lucky students who will have the opportunity to join Principal Abdallah-Rojas and be principals for a day!
Please give whatever you can, any amount is appreciated and makes such a huge impact on all our current and future students.
