Pottery for Kids at Studio Sumi

Studio Sumi is a woman-owned ceramics studio located at 14th and Geary. They're offering an after-school Kidz Pottery Camp for 1st through 4th grade students this fall.

The Kidz Pottery Camp focuses on hand-building ceramics and sculptural art projects. Students will participate in outdoor activities, playful exploration, and art therapy techniques, while learning fundamental pottery methods such as coiling, pinching, and slab building. With a maximum of 8 students per class, each child will receive personalized attention in a nurturing environment.

The camp will be led by Bri Santo, the owner of Studio Sumi, who is a credentialed elementary teacher with over 15 years of experience. Bri’s unique blend of educational expertise and passion for pottery ensures that your child will not only learn but also thrive in an inspiring and supportive setting.
